to me this is similar to the flawed "flacco is elite" argument

there are a lot more QBs that can step in to a team with a good defense and a good running game and be "winning QBs" -- but playoff games are dominated by elite QBs in today's game, and if you don't have one, you need to find one.
If that's what Harbaugh is trying to do I give him credit for making the tough choice, doesn't mean Kaepernick is the right answer though.
