I guess they were renting the house, and they just vacated it and did not tell the guy who owned it.
He was there this weekend and had to rip out all the carpet, throw away all the furnature, and have the house "bombed" in every room.
I felt really bad for the guy, as it is going to end up costing him thousands of dollars.
