So, for those who care, here's the situation with the job -

apparently when my name/info was run by the hiring committee, they decided I did not have the qualifications necessary to be earning the money in that specific pay grade. So, they dropped the grade one level and reposted it.

So, techincally I have to reapply. I was encouraged to reapply by the woman who interviewed me this week, so hopefully that means I am still in the running. It looks like they *had* to repost it if any part of the job changed before someone was officially hired.
