I am still sometimes shocked when patients run of of their meds and don't go to the pharmacy to refill them.

The refills are available, just go to the pharmacy. And it is not even a cost issue, the meds are free!
I am not sure why I am still shocked because I see this waaaay too often.

Today we had a guy come who had zero vision in one eye (his baseline) and very little vision in the other (a drastic change). The drastic decrease in vision occurred 2 weeks ago. WHY DID'T YOU COME SOONER? (He had transportation available)

I am also shocked at how many enucleations we do. We are doing 2 this week, both due to trauma however.
