In addition to what Kim has said, there have been four variations of the Gruden rumor thus far.

All of them have included some sort of time stamp. The latest was that Trent Dilfer would call the second half of MNF to practice for the gig next week. Each of these deadlines had passed without comment.
Gruden is absolutely who I want. My instinct is that he stays in the NFL (Carolina would be perfect if that job opens). I think UT has our coach but his season isn't over yet.
