A fellow board member who is out of work and out of funds has begun asking me to pick him up on my way to meetings. He lives about the same distance from the office as I do and has no physical impairment so far as I know - and is about half my age. I hate to come right out and say "sorry I'm planning on walking today" - I should if it's bothering me, right?
