"Just Another Day (without You)" by Jon Secada.
It was the easy listening hit of the time. I moved into town at the end of the summer if misery and got a job at a temp agency with the hospital. They stuck me in a transcription office with middle aged biddies who listened to soft rock station and that song was on several times a shift.
Sometimes I could get through it. Sometimes I couldn't and I'd have to go to the bathroom to cry.
