Do we have a rate of how many people get divorced?

I know I've heard the number that 50% of marriages end in divorce, but if people who get divorced are getting divorced more than once, than that skews the numbers.

In other words, are 75% of people getting married and staying married forever, and 25% of people are marrying and divorcing over and over?

I'm sure my hypothetical numbers here are not realistic, but I wonder what the real numbers are?
