hiding it, implies that there is still something to hide - and there isn't. one would be understandably upset that they weren't informed sooner, but that requires no active "cover-up" by the cheater.

i would imagine that - after a year or so, the cheater rarely even thinks about the affair.

but thats all supposition on my part
