This is only true if we ignore the fact that many of the democrats who voted for him in the recall did not feel what he did was worthy of recall.

Polling data reinforced the fact that while many disagreed with him, it was inappropriate to attempt to recall him. This is why I specifically mentioned 2014, the time when we find out whether he does suffer consequences for his actions.
