it is a stopgap until something else is done.

Maybe it is asking for alot, maybe we do not need to send 100k troops to police the shit out of another country, and reassign them to a school until they figure out a way to get the guns out of crazy people's hands.

I know there is no ideal solotion, I would rather blink and all the problems go away. But I know that is not going to happen.

WHATEVER the answer is, it is likely a series of things that have to be put into place, which takes a long time to get through that amount of red tape.
