Take away guns that have a greater likelihood of killing a large number of people, yes. Better mental healthcare options, yes. Require background checks at gun shows, etc. yes. It's a combination of things that need to happen. We let it go too far. We can improve things, though.

Incidentally, my grandfather saved a group of people in a bakery once by shooting a man threatening them all with a gun. It was a legally owned handgun (not an assault weapon). So I am actually not looking to take away people's guns and believe responsible gun owners (licensed and re-licensed) should be allowed to own them.
