It does, but in today's modern world, I think we need to give parents more help than just saying "it's your kid".

Age restrictions on games is a good. I am not really advocating more, but I feel like to often that because video games are unfairly scape-goated, that game defenders ignore legitimate concerns over exporsure to (and more importantly, immersion in) violence and violent content.
