Like I said, it's imperfect, and I've no doubt that your package delivery got screwed up. I'm still a fan, it's an amazing system where I can send a letter basically *anywhere in the country* for a less than half a dollar.
Packages are tougher, and if you *need* it there by certain dates, then yeah, it's not so cheap. But lets be real, the scale and scope of what the USPS does is pretty impressive overall, even with all its warts.
