think long and hard before moving on. If B is still able to to ease off on his controlling tendencies (even now that he has reason to mistrust A), A may be blowing up his life over a mid-life crisis. In any event, it sounds like A's side toy should be dumped. In the end he has to decide and it should be for what will make him happy (but he should try very hard to figure out if moving on is the right long term fix or whether this is a passing issue).
