we made him call, they want it paid in full (with current charges kept up to date) by Feb 12th.

we told him he just HAS to call back and negotiate for 6 months. And then he has to learn to live REALLY frugally for 6 months to deal with it.

i really don't think he's capable of handling this. His mom was essentially USELESS at preparing him for real life and then the first month that Dave was no longer paying child support to her, she told Nicolas to move out. Yes, every time while he was growing up and Dave tried to get him to live with Dave his ex threw a fit and wouldn't let it happen.
