Stable. Living in a "Sobriety House" and looking for work. He came over on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Actually, the most positive sign, I think, was that he moped and complained when we went caroling about how cold he was; the gripey teenager side of him as been absent lately, it was the most "like-himself" he's sounded in months.
