I think there's a reasonable chance that if they were one and done that he still would have gotten fired, but it's definitely not certain. Firing him

last year with a new GM would have made more sense coming off a poor season (though Cutler's injury was the main issue). It would have been an overall fresh start. Here we have a team that seems like it's on the verge of winning big. A new O cooridinator and a couple of offensive linemen in the offseason and they're very dangerous. It seems like a weird time to blow it up. And I still don't understand why they're apparently not looking at their own guy Dave Taub instead of some of the outsiders they're looking at for the job.
