12/7/41 General McArthur disobayed a direct presidential order and was not fired or courtmartialed

FDR told McArthur just after the Pearl Harbor attack to be on full alert and to get the Phillipines ready for an attack. Which he did not do, and later that day the japanese attacked and nearly wiped out the US base.
