The Senate didn't pass it until December 31st, you think they were going to have time to amend the bill, vote on it, pass it? send it to the Senate

and get them to pass it(?) in two days? When the Senate had already voted down a bill that reduced some of the "pork" spending?

I mean FFS, they were going to Amend and then pass a Senate Bill the same DAY the Senate passed it (hi fiscal cliff!)

Since the majority of the House wanted to vote for it, who cares? It takes about 6 minutes on average for the House to pass a bill.
