By that point, it was among the least ludicrous things in the movie.

i didn't like the alien plot; i liked that the others involved some holy elements but it'd didn't infuriate me as much as the terrible WTF moments and the jokes that were Shia's character and the other tertiary characters.
karen Allen was fantastic though.
