I would really love NPR or CNN or any news agency to get a hold of a millionaire exec and ask them what life is like without the big bonuses.

I think I've heard analysts defend big pay due to competition reasons, but I've never heard a highly paid exec defend his own pay other than "that's what our compensation policy is."
