BB missed insurance info here for PFM & Cappie

PFM - check with your agent to be sure - but a "no payment" claim does not usually impact your rate.

Cappie - not sure about your State, but here in Michigan, benefits extend to "household residents" whether related or not and whether you let them drive your car or not ... SO ... you need to let your agent know there are other drivers in your household first of all - secondly, with regards to not giving her permission to drive your car - be careful about that as someone driving without permission could wind up excluding your coverage. I'm not saying you let her drive - just if she gets the keys and DOES drive - don't say she didn't have permission. Again - every policy has different language - so maybe ask your agent when you call them. It's important to disclose - especially when you have not only the auto liability coverage but also an umbrella policy that covers over and above the auto in the event of a lawsuit. The last thing you want is an excluded or non-permissioned driver operating your car and having voided coverage - and yet you get sued and have to pay your own legal defense and any judgement out of pocket. Kids are crazy dumb at times ... even if there's a small charge on your policy so that you're covered for her - it's worth it in my opinion.
