Miserable day for a funeral (not that there are really my good days for one), cold and wet, but after the graveside service/burial the family went

Back to my uncle's house, and though it was quiet and somber at first slowly but sure the jokes and laughter and stories began to flow and before you know it my dad and cousin were having heir usual political disagreements, and there were multiple conversations all happening at the same time, and in the middle of it all I thought to myself "my aunt's up there in Heaven smiling down on us, thinking to herself "they're going to be alright."" It was good to see my uncle, surrounded by family, being able to laugh and remember the many good year, and memories, he shared with my aunt. Including, and I'd never heard this story before, how they first started dating: my uncle had a date, not my aunt, but he didn't have a car. My aunt did. So my uncle asked my aunt if he could borrow her car as she was one of the few people he knew that had one (this was in the 50's in San Antonio). Well, my aunt said sure he could borrow her car for a date, but only if she was the one he was taking on a date. And they'd been together ever since. She was a character, and will be missed dearly, but she will also be remembered fondly.
