RRSPs are "fire and forget". But if you've got an automatic savings program (ie ING, Canadian Tire and the like) for something like a vacation or a car, there's no reason not to put it into a TFSA. Considering you're only saving the tax on the interest, you should definitely still prioritize the RRSP.
