Don't worry too much about it. They'll look at the resume first (in all likelihood) and if they get to the cover letter, it's because you at least passed the smell test based on your resume. Highlight things relevant to said position and your experience that would be helpful and you'll do fine.
It's also to make sure you can communicate effectively. Can you use spellcheck? You're good to go.
