So it's been ass cold this week in the NE. Yesterday, the cold water in the kitchen sink stopped working. Hot water is fine. Hot/Cold everywhere else seems fine.
There's no water leaks in the basement as of this AM, no obvious damage.
We're not looking at a busted pipe because of the cold though, right? Or are we? How does one know this?

Dude, when the thaw happens I don't want to be you. leave the cold on, and open all your cabinets. Turn up the heat in the house

This looks frozen. I can tell from the ice crystals and from seeing quite a few pipes in my time. -- nm

If the sink sits on an exterior wall it could be frozen, but
