So glad I don't do desktop tech support. Our IT guy just discovered that windows has a unique requirement for hosts file formatting

On a unix system, this is fine:
127.0.0.1 localhost
On a Windows 7 system, there MUST be eight spaces.
127.0.0.1 localhost
Nutty.
