Accusations like this can ruin a person's life, they need more than just a hunch to take any action.

I would think that if this person were convicted of such a crime, HR would know about it. Espcially if they're using their true name.
I'd hate to have to feel uneasy around someone I worked with, and potentially thought was a kiddie porn collector, but the damage done if I was wrong is not worth it.
