Do you care and will you watch the World Baseball Classic? Did you even know there was a WBC?

IMO, international tournaments like this won't ever work for baseball. The regular season is just too long and too important for the U.S. to send its best players. The players don't play as well as they would since they haven't even been through spring training yet. Which is another point. The players haven't been through spring training and aren't conditioned to be playing all out on the field. That would also likely lead to players not playing very hard which will be boring, losing baseball and can also lead to injuries. Injuries are a huge concern. Teams and fans don't want to lose a player for any time because he was playing in the WBC.
I just don't think it's a good idea or one that will work.
