might you have heat that comes from the right for some period during the day?

I've tried *so* many things in the past several weeks for that darned spot ("out, I say!"), but flaky keeps recurring. so annoying. (I have perspective, of course; still dang annoying!)

(I also have some finger dry spots that recur every year when it's drier and colder; but they show improvement better fast and well with regular richer moisturizer applications.)
