1. If meals are not complimentary, won't your employer reimburse you for those? Not sure of your situation but if you're an employee and not a contractor they should. If you're a contractor, you might be able to deduct meals as a business expense (note: not tax advice).
2. Will the staff know the difference between you and the guests? If not, you should tip but you should really ask your boss about protocol.
3. I would overdress rather than underdress when meeting suppliers. Especially in your case since you are a young female. You don't want them dismissing you right off because you are inappropriately dressed for the meeting. It's sad, but that's the way it is.
