you are a representative of the company. how do you want it to be perceived? act accordingly, also, just because you are not paying, you are getting

service from these people. should they be punished because you are not paying the bill, plus it's your chance to show your gratitude for what they've done for you. Also, as you know, many of them are at or below the poverty line.
Don't forget that this is a BUSINESS trip.
