and the reloadable ones charge fees (probably about $7+) each month to be active. Some have reload fees too. -- nm

I think the ones I saw here charge a $5 activation fee, but no other fees. Which is still very lame, but FB's idea isn't all that impressive either. -- nm

Exactly. And most merchants can't run them down to $0, it's a card flaw. They're terrible. -- nm
