None of my HS friends and I worked in HS. We all played sports during the summer and school year, so between sports and school, no one really had time.

In college my core group of friends tended to work retail over restaurants. I had a lot of Best Buy, Circuit City, and CompUSA friends.

Also, random, but I've only ever worked as an accountant (that's kind of sad I think). I've been working since after freshman year college.
