entire meal (our appetizer plates and tray stayed there the entire meal, etc) cleared EVERYTHING after bringing us the check. I had asked her for a box so I could bring the baby's meal home - there was a bunch of leftover chicken - and she took that tray with her. So, I had to wait 5 minutes for her to bring the box back, and realized too late that it wasn't needed any more. When she returned, I told her the box was no longer necessary, as she took away the one item we were going to take home with us. She just gave me this blank look, then told me that we qualified for some promotion where we got something on the bill for free. I actually asked if we HAD to use it this time, as I just wanted to get out of there. She told me we had to use it now, so I had to wait for another 5+ minutes while she paid the bill and I got change back. (We had paid with cash, but had exactly enough for the bill and a small tip. Now I needed to wait for her to pay the new, adjusted bill with the money left so we could get change.)
It was such poor service.
