me: So, did you hear about Rihanna's injuries? They sound pretty significant.
coworker: Hmm. I wonder what she did.
me: Ummm...
cw: Hey, I'm not saying domestic violence is okay, but you know she had to say something to set him off. It's different than the drunk guy who comes home from work and beats the shit out of his wife just because he wants to. She had to say something to get Brown pretty upset. I doubt she was sitting in the back of the car telling him how much she loved him.
me: *speechless*
...SERIOUSLY??

Hmm, I think I can see her point, if inartfully phrased.

My dad beat up my mom once. I was 13 then my mom ran behind because she was so scared. I never respect a man who beats up a woman even whatever

I'm sure Rihanna's a drama queen. Still not an excuse to beat her up... -- nm

She's 19. She probably was nagging him but that gives him no right. Moron. -- nm

The dude may have a point. I mean, if the story broke that Chuck Finley beat the shit out of Tawny Kitaen...it would have been a huge story.

You should punch your CW repeatedly in the face then blame them for setting you off. -- nm
