even with its premise, it's still surprising how many murders there are. the close nature of them is extra disturbing, which I'm sure is intentional; but I think that, plus the holes in law enforcement skills, is what's going to push me away, maybe even before no-murder "voice" comes back.

there's not enough non-dark in the mix, and not really enough puzzle.
