I'm willing to suspend belief for a minute and assume that Purefoy is just that fucking charismatic that people will stab themself in the eye for him.

I can even suspend belief enough to go along with the fact that he's put a plan in place over the last 5 years...and everyone is still working it.

What I have trouble with is walking into a freak show house like the Poe house...see a lineup of creepy ass Poe masks and then...a former FBI investigator completely missed the FUCKING BODY ATTACHED TO ONE OF THE MASKS!!! Really?!?!?!?
