I'm looking for a way to track my work and get more organized --- any hints? Here's what I do now

I'm setting up tasks in Outlook --- title is the date started and the title of the email that kick started the task; categorize based on the pertinent trackable data (contract #/project #/program/module)
Create folder for all emails with the same name as the task.
When a task is complete, I move the folder and task to a completed file until the pay period is over when I move them to my archived .pst's.
Anyone have a system that works for them? I am 100% not organized and I desperately need to get so.

right click on the field headers of the inbox and outbox, field chooser, and select categories. I assign a category to each email (in and out), later

I'm terribly unorganized myself, so the only thing I can offer is the simpler the system, the better.

Chances are, you aren't ever going to read those emails again. I just transcribe the pertinent bits and attach the email (or file etc) to the task.
