Facebook question: I have one Friend who, when I go to his Profile, there is no option to write on his Wall. Why is that?

I asked him about it and he doesn't know. I can write on other people's Walls, but when I go to his Profile, that pull-down thing to write or "Send Gift" or stuff is not there. It just shows his wall with no space for me to write.

Anyone know what that's about? I have searched and have not seen what could cause this. TIA!
