fwiw, my first question to them would be, "what is it specifically about a CPA's skill set that you find works well in this role?"

Its the rare interview that I think openly claiming ignorance to their world to some degree, and being inquisitive, might actually work in your favor. Someone in your shoes coming out of a more traditional work environment should be plenty curious about the fit, the day to day activities, etc.
