Has anyone here used PetSmart or Petco for dog obedience classes?

How are they? I'm curious to see if it's worth the money, or if we should just sign up for a class in a more private setting.

Went to 2 different Petsmarts with 2 dogs and it was very effective. -- nm

Yes, PetSmart. Overall, I thought they were worth doing. My only complaint would be the limited space my PetSmart had for the class. -- nm

We took Indy for puppy training there. He learned everything he was supposed to.

I'll settle for him learning, 2am is not wake-up time. -- nm

Eh, he might always wake up in the middle of the night. I'd be happy if he learned that

I know a woman who trains dogs up here. She insists those places aren't good for training dogs. -- nm

as Inigo said, a lot of it has to depend on the trainers and locations I would think -- nm
