The story is pretty basic, but it can be entertaining if done right.

Girl sets up wedding, girl wants to invite dad, girl finds out she has 3 potential dads. Hilarity ensues.
Standard sitcom stuff, really.
It's the individual performances that take it from "According to Jim" level to "My Name Is Earl" or "The Office" level.
