We tried the Costco Auto buying thing. It wasn't all that great of an experience.

there's a contact at the dealership that you *have* to speak to, and they basically are supposed to give you the msrp plus/minus some small sum.
I found I got a better deal just dealing with a salesman.
To each their own.
