That's pretty much standard for non-governmental jobs. I generally had 7 days a year - 3 in summer and 3 winter.

New Year's, Memorial, 4th of July, Labor, Thanksgiving(2 days) and Christmas. Sometimes only one day for Thanksgiving - the Friday and occasional extra days at Christmas and New Year we'd be closed but need to take vacation, PTO, or unpaid.
