Yeah, here we go. To get nuclear DNA, you need the hair follicle to be attached, which you typically don't get in fallen hair.

I doubt it would stand up in court, honestly. mDNA doesn't vary that much. if there's a match then you have to prove that the sequences are uncommon. -- nm
