that was because, as is often the case, they were the only group in their division. It's hard to find teams that line up against an all boys team with ages ranging from like 10 to 17. So while that was cool and they got some great take-aways: National Championship jackets, etc., the really great part was the Best Choreography award that was given to one team in each section (there were 7 sections). That was really a great win for them.

As for the numbers, they announced something like 4000 participants of which I think maybe 20 were boys and our team was about 14 of those. As Remlik said, target rich environment ;)
