and have it be the same time on the clock everywhere. Just adjust what time you call day based on actual daylight.

That way when you tell someone "call me at 15:30" it means the same to you as it does to them because there are no timezones.

The only tricky thing that would be added by making the switch is a group of people might straddle their work day across the change in calendar days. You'd have a group of people whose midday would be 24:00 and they'd go to work on a Tuesday and leave for home on a Wednesday. :-)
