Jovian (Following notes from Bwhatever)

Bacon does get caught from behind too much. Maybe he should quit drinking so much vodka disguised as water.

The footage wasn't enhanced because of his special laptop. It was enhanced because he routed it through the FBI, and he needed his laptop to access it. I doubt the FBI servers could enhance it that much, at least that quickly. But that is a separate issue, one that many shows are guilty of. Or the FBI is a lot better than I assume.

What Natalie Zea's character did was stupid. But people do all kinds of stupid/crazy things for their kids. I'm willing to forgive that one, especially if she has a knife and is willing and able to use it.

Bad local cops are common on tv, fair or not.

Lead FBI woman was probably best served staying at the home base, especially as she didn't believe in their lead.

Lawyer chick would get her message out there. Statement by a serial killer's lawyer? Of course that is making the air.

I thought Bacon did call for backup, he just didn't wait for them.

I was thinking the entire time how that cop was an idiot letting that guy get so close. But, as mentioned above, bad cops are common on tv. And they hadn't seen the kid or any of the known suspects. The guy seemed unarmed. He might have been afraid of the repercussions of shooting the wrong, unarmed guy.

And you missed the worst, the entire interaction of the kid on the phone after he called his mom. Including the phone mysteriously hanging up because the kid dropped it. The correct thing to do is ask where he is, what the house looks like, and how many people are there. Then tell him to hide after hiding the phone somewhere else, without hanging it up.

Also, don't hide under a table where anyone can see and hear you in the first or second room most people would go to when they wake up. That kid is too dumb and/or unprepared given who his father is.
